If I may interject - and please forgive the late post, but I just got home from work, but I didn't see anything offensive or personal about mmpike's post.
Strong opinion? maybe, A bit frustrated? most definitely so, but in taking his comments at face value without personalizing them, I would say mmpike just made the forum a little livelier!

When I first joined the forum a few weeks ago I have to say that I had the impression that I had to "fit in" to the cliche that was already established.
I felt that newcomers were at a definite disadvantage in that they may often express viewpoints that the established group weren't interested in.

I agree with Rick in that it is the acceptance of new people and the diversity of viewpoints they bring that make the forum interesting and fun!
