No, I was not a barred bidder -- I have 375 ebay feedbacks, 100% positive. Here's what happened -- I was sniping two items with the same closing time, from the same seller, using bid groups. Auction Sniper logged me in fine for one of them, but the bid was too low. At the same moment, Auction Sniper FAILED TO PLACE MY BID for the other, which sold for half the price, way below my max AS bid.
I the got an email from Auction Sniper saying "Status Summary: Unable to Sign In
Your snipe did not win because of the reason above

Suggestion: You might want to consider using Auction Sniper Bid Groups. With Bid Groups, you can bid on the same item from multiple sellers -- your bids will automatically be placed on each successive auction until you win one. This can help you avoid the disappointment of losing on an item you really want!"
I *WAS* USING BID GROUPS, SO THAT WAS REALLY JUST ADDING INSULT TO FAILURE.
