How long to leave feedback?

I searched the AS forums for "time to leave feedback", "how long to leave feedback", etc., but didn't find what I was looking for.

I'm trying to resolve a situation amicably, rather than rashly leaving negative feedback. I'm not sure if the seller is trying to snow me. How long do I have to leave feedback?
