I thought so too Christine. But I forwarded the original to spoof and they said it is legit.

No where in the emails did they ask me to click a link or anything. Everything was done from the ebay home page and on the site map.

Apparently, some bastard DID actually manage to access my account and change my password, ebay picked that up by the really unusual IP address. They said it wasnt anything close to the 3 IP's I use.

Said *bastard* was then trying to misuse my account in a way that sent the warning bells off at ebay.

I am seriously impressed with their diligence and the support staff were fantastic
