Welllll..... If it's called "Middle" Farm it's got to be in the middle of something, so perhaps it's in the middle of the UK?

Presumably the neighbouring farms are Left Farm (AKA Animal Farm), Right Farm, (then, Far-Right Farm - the Bush/Howard place), Top Farm (obviously the best) and Bottom Farm (enough said).
