Spitting, I have never quite understood. Must be a nervous habit because I don't feel the need while driving down the street or walking down the sidewalk. Maybe women loose the urge to spit when as infants, they are potty trained??!!
Many states have smoking bans in all public places, including bars. It was a little bit of a culture shock to move to NC where it is not yet so.
