We got six ducks 2 yesrs sgo - tiny little yellow fluff balls but they outgrew our little pond and went native. They have lasted two winters and number about 16. I think they have cross bred with the wild ducks as now have some grey feathers.
Some fly and others are two heavy to fly. The same happened with some turkeys
but think most of them have been taken by bow hunters. Several were left to rot and now the entire community is shutting out the bow hunters as well.
It's my contention that if you can see
houses in all four directions you shouldn't be hunting anything. Because anything there is domestic.
