Oops .....I just yanked some out of my flower beds! The birds around here seem to be experts at pooping seeds from all over the county into my flower beds! And I have mulch on most of them so it sprouts very well.
One thing they brought me that is just beautiful is a red poppy. It's a strange one, it's leaves look like lettce, pale smooth green instead of fuzzy like a thistle,and it grows up a tall stem. The flower head is bright red and as full as a carnation! Just wonderful. I hope they bring me more surprises like that.
Sorry Mrs.M, I shoulda sent it to you! I think asparagus is gross! I guess I'm the opposite of Mory. He has such a wide variety of menus, and I pretty much stick to a few of the basics!
