Reply to "First snipe: no reply from seller"

In the UK it was a bank holiday weekend and now it's school half-term so people are often away. [No doubt sunbathing in their clothes as us Brits tend to do! Allegedly!!!]

Sellers normally want to sell the item (hey, it's a legally binding contract) so it's in their interest to get in touch.

I think some people, new to eBay, expect a business-like immediate response, not realising that the seller might only access their computer once or twice a week. 1 buyer left me a positive feedback but, in it complained item was slow arriving - he had it 4 days after the Auction ended! And it only cost 99p!!! Wink

My advice is don't panic just yet - wait a bit then go through the normal channels (eBay will give you contact details if you ask nicely!) before leaving negative feedback.

How would the seller know you used AS? Unless you have that stupid INSTAMAIL thing switched on and it sent the seller an email. Get into My Snipes Modify Account and turn it off immediately!

Just thought - maybe your neighbours have 'had a word' as they don't want the noise! Big Grin
