Final bid price inaccurate--what are all the bugs?

Hi! I am a regular user but I see many odd things happening lately--does something need
cleaning or what? It's no big deal but the
last item I bid on shows that an incorrect amount for the final bid. The amount shown on
AS does not show up on eBay because another
person bid higher, and then my bid after that.
Why doesn't AS hang around till the bidding is
over?
