So what you're saying is you'd rather lose without a bid being placed, than with your bid being placed? That makes no sense.

In our case you still win as long as your bid is the higest. In your case you lose frqeuently because your bid didn't make it to eBay in time.

We're not going to add a feature that decreases your chances of winning. We adjust for a reason. The boards were more full of people complaining their bids weren't making it on time and thus they were losing without even the chance of winning.

Perhaps in the future as some sort of advanced option we can give it a try, but certainly if we find people are losing too many we'd remove it. I'm pretty sure that would be the case though so I'm not sure it would be worth even adding.
