Reply to "DO NOT DEAL WITH FIREBUY ("CPU77")!"

#1 Never post a seller's name oin a thread! It is normally a TOS!
#2 How honest is it to insure a junk , parts only machine so that you can get a new one?
quote:
I bought a fax machine from a seller with a high feedback rating. It was item #3460229426. The fax machine had problems and I knew that when I bought it - which was fine. I was buying for parts. The problem wasnt the item... but rather the service and slick tactics.

Upon winning, I cut them a check for the amount plus shipping and $1,5000 of insurance. Thats the replacement value of the machine... and since UPS likes to beat things all to hell, I figured if it arrived pulverized - I would at least get a new machine.

#3 Did you notify the seller about the cartridge and give him a chance to respond or just go stop your check? I think your post would have a little more credence if I hadn't read the part about the insurance which is called fraud! I am NOT saying that the seller's transaction was pure, but neither was your 's it seems.
