If you list in January wait until about the 10th. By then eBay sales are back to normal. By the end of January they're usually actually as busy or busier than they are in late November and early December which is the peak time for eBay each year.

Good times to end your listings are Sun->Tues 5:30pm->8:30pm pacific time.
