The box is for when you wish to have the same action affect several snipes, so you do not have to do each one individually. For example, if you wish to cancel several different snipes all at once, or move several snipes from your My Snipes folder to another folder, you can check the boxes and move them all at once.

Otherwise, you do not need to check the box. Once you see the snipe listed on the screen, it is ready to go!
