If it was after the cutoff time,you CANNOT cancel. It is impossible.It is locked. If it was before, then your message should tell you whether it was placed or not. Since the system is automated, I really doubt a person would get charged if a snipe was not placed. If you have doubts, write support. I am sure they can show you.
