To get Snipe It Now working, set up an icon with this as the properties:-

Searches work fine unless you use Advanced Searches - unfortunately, if you are not in the USA then you have to use Advanced searches to look on non-ebay.com sites and they just don't work. Maybe if Sara was in the UK she'd get them working for us...?
