Bad weekend? No e-mails, even?

Hello, helpful folks out there,

My three free bids went fabulously. Since then ... no luck. I haven't even gotten the e-mail notifications saying I didn't win and why on this weekend's attempts. My intended bid of up to 61.11 on item 2346985953 is still sitting there with the happy looking green "ready" ... on an item that went for $51 to a bid placed 2 days before auction's end. Any thoughts? Anyone? My lead is set to 8 sec., but if that was the problem wouldn't it have given me some sort of "couldn't place your bid in time" message?
