Steve is correct re: the buyitnow option on eBay..and the seller may not have placed the buyitnow option when he/she originally authorized that auction...A seller can add,delete,or change the auction (certain rules do apply)....Also,if I happen to look at an auction and it shows B.I.N. I will do one of two things....like Steve says..place a min. bid on eBay..then use AS or if I just can't stand to not have the item

I'll pay the BIN price........
