This is a forum where you can talk to other users (some with lots'n'lots of experience) - as you "don't need help" here then I suggest you click on the HELP tab and log a support call to AS Support who will be able to help you specifically.
The forums are rarely frequented by AS Staff, they're (the forums) here for newbies to ask questions prior to reading the FAQs and for people to let off steam when they lose that 'must have' item when someone who can place a bid manually 1 second from the end of an auction has beaten their snipe by 1 cent/pence!

ps. why use 5 seconds when everyone on the forums specifies 8 (or thereabouts)? You've seen for yourself that AS adjusts it anyway so why risk 'not in time' errors?
