Welcome to our forum! I see you already got a welcome and response by our "king of snipes" here!

My advise is always set your snipe at the max you are willing to pay. Ebay is a huge auction site, so usually there will be more of the same item coming down the pike if you can just wait and watch. If you set your snipe higher than your max, you just might end up paying more!
