I did just that on an item LIKE one I'm thinking of listing. The item is an OLD electric guitar, current bid at $1000 plus. I didn't tell the seller why I was asking or that I really wasn't interested in bidding, I just asked why no PayPal? He said since the item was big ticket, he didn't want to pay the big resulting PayPal fee.

I'm inclined to allow PayPal, even for the big ticket items...unless someone on here would like to convince me otherwise?
