Don't worry, geekline, you're not so much of an oddball. I see auctions all the time with notes from the seller saying "I do NOT accept Paypal".

I'm always tempted to email them and tell them they've just lost my bid (whether I was really planning to bid or not), because I doubt they realize that bidders will actually go away over something like that. But then, chances are they've got very good reasons for their opinion, so why bother? Paypal certainly doesn't pay me to be their ambassador...
