I remember the first auction I was bidding on where sniping came into play ... and it was the other bidder that sniped me

I sent her an email saying, 'congratulations ... that was sneaky!', and got one back from her with a little explanation of sniping. Needless to say I was a convert - first doing it manually with several open browser windows, then by using software / AS!

I was extremely grateful that the auction ended as it did ... I was bidding WAY over my max for the item.
