A good lesson for the uninformed. STOP using money orders (bank or otherwise) and start using cashier's checks issued by your bank. If you have a nice account, they will not charge you...just ask. A cashier's check will be typed by the teller and include the name of both the payer and payee and any other information that you might want to include (such as an Ebay number). A cashier's check, as apposed to a money order, can be traced....and after filling out a form and filing a claim, funds can be recovered in full (6 months usually).
