A million to one Chance????

I am an absolute newbie to AS. I am nearly through my free introductory Snipes. Today I was "Proxy Outbid" by $100. I was totally dissapointed. What surprised me is the the bidder who won, bid 30 mins before me beating me by exactly $100, which was the minimum bid increment. My bid was I thought a hard number to guess...$7256. Is my imagination running rife or is there a conspiracy afoot????
