... And I received and outbid notice on one of my items from ebay.
So, rather than upping my max bid in ebay, I thought I was supposed to come to AS and make sure my max bid is, well, the max I'm willing to pay. So I've reset my max bid for the item in AS higher (but not in ebay). But now, AS has added this message in red letters highlighted in yellow on the item: "WARNING - Your max bid is below the minimum allowed for this item!"
I haven't a clue what this means. I've searched the FAQs on AS, and I am really lost.
Am I now supposed to go back to ebay and also increase my max bid there? (I have not done that yet.)
Is the problem that I started bidding on the item in ebay first...? And I'm only supposed to start bidding in AS? If that's the case, how do I rectify it in ebay without setting off a bidding war (which was the purpose for using AS) by raising my max over there?
