1st bidder at Low bid & Snipe at end!

If I place a first, or early, bid for a minimum amount and then use AS to snipe with my maximum bid will my original bid time carry forward and help me with the AS bid? If I am the high bidder when AS places the final bid will I be bidding against myself?
