As you may be aware, we have recently seen an increase in snipes that cannot be placed due to the "eBay Requires Account Verification" status, which occurs when eBay requests additional verification during login, such as captcha or a code that must be confirmed via text or phone. Unfortunately, our system is unable to bypass these additional verification measures and we cannot place bids when we encounter one of these measures.
We have been experimenting with ways to minimize how often eBay presents us with these additional verification measures recently, and are pleased to report that we have made some very promising adjustments over the last week that have limited these occurrences considerably.
Although eBay is still requiring this additional verification in some cases, and we are still looking into what more we can do to further lessen the impact of these measures – if you have had snipes fail for this reason recently – we encourage you to give us another shot!
