Does anyone but hardrock watch for funny items to bid on, like the ghosts or grilled cheese, or now the husbands balls??

Not quite sure that I understand the question, ftm, but probably not!

Confused What does 'anyone but hardrock watch ' mean ?? Is it an 'across the pond-ism?'

I was hoping it was meaningful on your side of the pond.

Sadly, not for this pond denizen!!

Google finds hardrock > 2,000,000 - some are vaguely understandable - but the remainder of the sentence in the context of ghosts, cheese and gonads got me running for the caffeine!

The ghost on grilled cheese was well advertised by the local radio/TV stations down here in Australia...so I have some inkling as to what the OP is talking about.

Other memorable auctions I can remember are:
  • Vintage Fart in a jar - *brewed* for several years
  • Some R'n'R legends Air Guitar
  • The *Rocky* statue with a starting price of $1mill - all proceeds were go to charity or some such thing

and of course Christine knows I like to hang out in the *weird* catergories and check out the haunted stuff Razz

Under "Professional Video Equipment" I recently saw a listing for "Used Condom Dispensor" Before I got around to making a copy or sending the listing to a talk show, the listing was changed to "Used Dispensor for condoms" Yuck!

A few years back a seller put a foam packing peanut up for auction. It was "signed by the artist", and had a pretty darn funny description. This seller today is a PowerSeller with over 20,000 auctions under his belt.
