There were four snipes yesterday, that for whatever reason were not posted. My question, however, is how to remove them now from my account/folder? They are just sitting there without any delete or modify option, pretty much locked. I would like to get rid of them so they wouldn't confuse me every time I login.
Thanks a lot!

Hi eugene,

I didn't realize guests could set snipes in Auction Sniper. In any case, when you say, "There were four snipes yesterday...", do you mean to say that you set four snipes in Auction Sniper?

And when you say, "...they were not posted...", I'm not understanding what that means.

Would you elaborate a bit, please?

Thanks,
Neva
Smile

Hi Eugene,

You are one of the few users who have many, many snipes ending on the same second. While our system can support this to a degree, we are still working on making it more efficient. I will remove these snipes from your 'Ready To Snipe' folder. May I suggest that you slightly offset your snipes. For example, if they all end at the same second -- have some with a 4 second lead time, some with a 5, and some with a 6.

Thanks,
Adam R.

Dear Neva:
I am actually a registered user of AuctionSniper (registered in November 2001), and don't know why I was listed as a guest??? Smile. By "not been posted", I meant, that I set up the snipes (prepared them, as usually), but they were not actually applied, when needed. As Adam explained, my lead time could have been close to each other.

Dear Adam:
Thanks for trying to delete the unused snipes. Currently, they are still sitting there, but hopefully will be gone soon. Would it be possible in the future to keep the 'delete' option available for these so-called "unused" snipes? Thanks a lot!

Thanks, Adam! They are gone now!

Hi Eugene,

You have to re-register to post on the forum. Here is a link:

I fixed a few things today that [should] fix the problem with a lot of snipes that end on the same second. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if things go smoothly.

Adam
