I'll never understand what some people b*tch about. I just had a snipe go off at 8 seconds, just as planned, and won the item for just over half my max bid. I haven't kept track of how many times I've sniped with AS, but it's been a year-and-a-half of 100% satisfaction. Thank you, AS.

Same here, I think that AS has missed one or two of mine during the three or so years that I have been using it. My take on that: Oh well, I just saved some money and another one will be bound to show up again; maybe even at a lower bid.

AS has never missed a snipe for me! The only loses I have had are the items that I didn't bid enough on. But as Dave said, another will come along, cheaper.

AS missed once for me, but I was watching the auction and ebay's response time was veeeeeery slooooooooow!

Another advantage, and to me the major benefit is NOT having to be at the computer when the auction closes. Oh, I have watched a few of mine close and it is nice to see, after watching a couple of bidders "duke it out", the snipe fire and they are left in the dust.
