As a non-US bidder many auctions end at times when it would be impossible for me to watch them and still be fit to do my job. So I set my snipes for my true max, go to bed, and then my first thing I do on waking is to go to my computer. Its not always good news but mostly it is. BTW: the times when I got beat was when it went over my true max and not because AS let me down, so I just move on to a new auction.
