I came across an interesting auction. Take a look at the bidding history <HERE>. If I'm not mistaken, the same bidder bid 15 times in the last 30 seconds?!? 13 times in the last 10 seconds! Obviously using something other than AS! Are there snipe programs out there that "demon snipe" -- multiple snipes on one item? I'm not sure I'd want it as I don't know that I want anything THAT BAD!

Looks like a malfunctioning AS system to me. The last 13 bids are all for $30.26. How many times do you need to bid the same price?

Nope.

You can’t bid the same price more than once. After the increment, or reserve, is reached, at least I think it’s still this way, you can increase your bid by 1 cent as many times as you like or until your patience runs out.

Are you aware of any sniping system/service that places multiple, increasing bids?

Think it might be a program written by that specific bidder? I wish we knew the winner's ID so we could see if the bidder had the same bidding behaviour on other auctions.

It's a private auction so the bidders could be the same or different...

Nope. Can’t be the later. All the $30.26 bids have to be from the same bidder, or the bid amounts would have increased. AND, with each one a second apart, ebay wouldn’t allow duplicate bids from multiple bidders.

Region2 - you should read up on how ebay's increments and proxy bidding work.

Hi,

New auctrion site launched (quietly) on Monday. The address is www.Bidjit.com and we hope eBay users will visit BidJit and give it a try.

Thanks
