Someone bid on an item at 7.99 and proxied at 8.50. Somebody just outbid them at 8.70 which made the next increment bid at 9.20! How can this be?

As Mrs. M would say, an auction number would be helpful! <duck>

I didn't include it because it is still ongoing and shows nothing, of course yet! Soo, quit ducking!! But, at any rate, in an ongoing auction, where would you come up with an increment of twenty cents??

Just lost some auctions because sniper didn't put in my updated bid. I increased it 3+ hours before they ended. ?????? drnit!!

ANd, what's up with that, MG? This isn't a busy day!!!

Bidder one proxy bid 8.50 current price is 7.99
Bidder two bids 8.70. That's more than one increment above 7.99 current price is now 8.70

Minimum bids are calculated from the current price, not someones max.

Lol, auctions are hard enough to figure out when you can SEE the bids... let alone before auction end.

I see a tiny mistake in my previous post, will edit and correct.
