Hmmmm - weird.

I wonder what the un-revised version was?

Apart from the man from Demsher* having Australophobia, he seems to dislike cheques and Paypal.
If I was contemplating bidding, loud warning bells would be ringing here, despite the good feedback.

*Demsher - what they call Devonshire in Devonshire. Wink

Dunno why anyone would have Australophobia...we are such a lovely bunch.

Although we did get pipped by the Canadians as "friendliest nation" Eek

I cant remember what we did get voted #1 for, but I am thinking it was like the charity award....you know....so every country gets to be #1 for something.

We should be the #1 to be represented by loons. eg, Johnny Howard, Steve Irwin and Paul Hogan. Confused

Geeesh I am a bit slow off the mark, wish I had visited here before this auction had ended. Definately would have hit 'ask the seller a question' button Wink

BTW Paul if you are interested there is an antique camera for sale here in Oz...item no 7599036999. It is in Broome on West coast of OZ. He is a new seller and is on the same forum as me and appears to be a nice guy Smile

Thanks for the lead - sadly out of my price class!

I collect the sort of cameras that are deeply unfashionable and so ultra cheap!

My last purchase

I work on the same principle as trading in Penny Shares! So a $7 camera that goes to $14 has doubled my money!

Problem with the brass-and-mahogany stuff is that you cannot really use it, but a little 35mm rangefinder like Paul's Konica can be used for ever until the 35mm format finally goes.

I really must get rid of a few of mine on ebay - just gave away a Zenit on freecycle when it got no bids! One of these days I will reassemble the Werra and sell it.....
