I made a mistake when an Item did not sell by submitting a 2nd chance offer to 3 bidders all with lower bids than the reserve price. Now apparently I have to submit an item for each one if they purchase. My mistake was that I thought a 2nd chance ment they had a 2nd chance to place a bid and when reserve was met could sell to them. How do I correct this? Any help appreciated. I have delisted all my products for now.

I am not a seller. One of them will have to tell you for sure. However, as I read it. You would offer the second chance to the highest bidder that did not win. If they decline, you then work down the list. It does not mean it is a new auction. It just means that you are giving that person the opportunity to buy the gizmo at the price they had bid.
I may be wrong, but that is the way I read it.

Have you notified Ebay of your misunderstanding and asked them what to do? Can you cancel/delist a 2nd chance auction just like you can a regular auction? Maybe contact all of the parties who received the 2nd chance via direct e-mail and tell them the 2nd chance offer was a mistake and to ignore it?

You should be able to just cancel the additional auctions.

That said, if they are 1 day auctions, you wont be able to cancel them if they are in the last 12 hours.

I would do as Jab suggested and let the potential buyers know via email that there was a mistake.
