Can anyone give me the logic behind E-Bay not allowing the insertion of Auction Sniper logo's in the ad's we create and insert and pay for when other logo's such as PayPal can be inserted? That was the best referral method for FREE snipes and I believe it is wrong for the use of the logo's to not be allowed? What do you think?

I do not see why AS logos should not be allowed, but hey EBAY has the right to regulate what ever they want. I used to have the logos inserted in my auctions, but I do not anymore because I do not want my auctions ended when they have bids on them.
I guess I would just rather pay the small fee for AS rather than attempting to earn free snipes with the risk of having my auctions ended.

Ebay doesn't get a nickel from AS, therefore they won't run their banners. Ebay is developing their own sniping software (opinion) and doesn't want any competition. Again, IMOO. I'm sure they have received some form of payment from bidpay, paypal, etc.

EBAY's fees for everything keep rising and rising. Yes, I am sire that the other companies do pay them for allowing them to show their banners.

Actually the reason is that eBay doesn't LIKE sniping. They prefer that you use the proxy-bidding system so that the interest in the item is driven up by multiple bids. If everyone waited till the end of every auction eBay would make a whole lot less money. So to discourage sniping they won't show AS logos. . .

If you have an Auctiva account, they offer a service box which is placed at the bottom of your listings. One of the bidder tools is a link to AS which can be checked. Up to a few days ago, the AS link appeared in the service box on several listings. In the listings I recently put up, the AS link does not appear and I have it checked. If some auctions have been ended early because of the AS link, it won't be long before they say up front that the link is forbidden.
