Hello,

Just passing along a new eBay sniping site called http://www.snipegoods.com. It's free and no strings attached. Even if you don't snipe you can check out the final hour auction deals happening on eBay for clothing, sporting goods, gadgets, etc. Thanks.

always a good idea to post details of a competitor on a company's forums!

As region2’s mentor, I see I’ve had yet ANOTHER positive influence on him.

I assume, Camera, that your referring to region2 and myself as “girls” is a compliment. I know that in this age of enlightenment, and considering that the English has had females, both elected and inherited, run their country, unlike the U.S. of A., can only mean that you feel that we (region2 and me) have gone beyond the stereotypical male role models.

Don’t let this go to you head, but I’ve missed you. Hope you stick around some.

Thanks for the

Quite touching!

On a more serious note, the reason I have not been evident on the forum is that in mid 2007, my wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The last year has passed in a blur of treatment and hospitals. She died on October 13th

Since then, as you can imagine, coming on here and "bating" Rick & R2 has not been on my list of priorities. It still isn't.

I think that both gentlemen have, over the past few years, provided a valuable service in answering questions that have been posed in a sensible and polite manner.

The problem with this forum is that it seems to attract people who come and "vent their spleen" mainly wrongly, on the "alleged" shortcomings of AS.

All that is required is a polite request for information. Not too difficult a task is it?

Paul,

The last couple of years must have been so difficult for you. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Another MIA member is Lexie. Does anyone know how she & her family fared in the recent rash of wildfires that Australia endured?

She’s a survivor. The safest place in any disaster would be right next to her, unless she was the cause of the disaster.
