I was kicked off for selling a LV purse for a friend, (it was used 10 days). I honestly mentioned that she bought it on ebay but I couldn't vouch that it was a real LV.

Now, I can't get a response after three reinstatement faxes to ebay. What's the trick for us "schisters" to get reinstated. Is there a phone number? Someone to talk to? Heeeeelllp!

You were kicked off rather than the auction being taken off? This is called VeRO and normally the auction is ended only, unless you are a repeat offender.

Mrs.M, It's been a while. Thank you for the quick response. I've scored so many cool motorcycle parts with auction sniper. I love it (when I bid high enough).

The first time I tried to sell her purse,it disapeared before the auction started. Next time, a week later, I was booted. On this veRO thing... what can I do more than faxing the reinstatement page and a few utility bills???

You know what they say..3 times charm! If I were you, I suppose I would start over under another name if I could AND keep my slate clean. It never hurts to try to clear it up, but after three times my personal hope would be slim to nothing! Didn't you get the hint after the first two? Sorry to be so hard on you, but I just can't imagine you would keep putting it back on.

Well, the first time I put the bag up, I figured it just didn't take. It was a few days before I noticed it wasn't there. I've got a (55) 100% feedback rating. So, I'm truly innocent there. Mrs M, thanks for the link, I'll get it a try.

Well, I see he is still not a registered user. This was also his third ID.( not that that makes a difference, except I told him he might start up with a new ID and it looks like he already has done that before!)

That's grounds for getting kicked off again!

I tried, but I just can't feel sorry for someone that's broken the rules so many times.

Well, I think I've only had 2 IDs, not 3. One was back in 2001?

The ebay people said my utility bill information was not an exact match (it goes to my landlord's address, not mine). Plus, my condo caught on fire four months ago and I'm not getting current bills right now. I think it's getting worked out though. I just refuse to start over after a 100% feedback rating.

Fire: Condo Fire

Possibly, but it certainly shows three, not two ids....I don't understand what the fire and utility bills have to do with getting booted.

Hey, I put the dang used purse up the first time and it disapeared for some unknown reason (now I know). Ten I tried to put it up again and that's when I got booted. The biggest difference between me and all the shisters out there was that I admited that it probably wasn't real.

I now understand that ANY fake item is aganist their rules. Trust me, honesty is the most important thing to me, and on this board. I'm still trying to become reinstated. All my sales and purchases are for my classic motorcycle project, not fake purses.

I appreciate you continued help and the caht suggestion really helped.

Reinstatement requires a current utility bill along with a ebay reinstatement form.

Then you can't list it on eBay. You were probably reported by the manufacturer or they were alerted by another seller selling the real thing. (or maybe a 'better' fake)
> Counterfeit Items Policy <

You should have gotten an email from eBay telling you why your listing was deleted.

Yes, Puppy, I thought so too! I would think that anytime something is pulled they surely explain why. I know they send notices to the bidders.

ps. ID history doesn't show how many times you've been given the boot. (which is what I thought Mrs.M was talking about)

My ID history shows I've had 3 ID's, but my record is spotless. The number of times you change your ID means nothing... The number of times you've had to start over and sneak back onto eBay does, but will NOT show up in the ID history.

You're correct. Can't list that stuff although she had purchased it on ebay. Actually, I didn't get a notification from ebay the first listing or I would have never tried to list it again.

Kinda' missing using auction sniper to buy things. I hope they reinstate me soon.
