Hi, I am new here and have a question. I put a maximum bid on an item for 100.00 and was wondering if this maximum snipe bid would show up on my ebay watch list with the maximum bid. This is my first time to use sniper and I am wondering plus i am worried cause I don't see anything on ebay that I have a sniper maximum bid. any help will be appreciated.

Your $100.00 snipe is like a proxy bid, only it is placed (the portion of the $100.00 needed to top the highest bid, if it is high enough to top it)one time, at the last possible moment. This avoids bidding wars. The snipe will never show until it is actually sent to eBay to be placed.

Should my maximum show up on ebay? How can i be sure it will work?

p.s it is telling me confirmation is not available. What does that mean?

Where are you seeing this?

On the snipe page that shows what i am bidding on, where it shows 'status'. I clicked it & it has a 'show confirmation button' clicked it, yhen it says, there is none.

The “View Confirmation” will bring up the response that AS receives when it places your snipe. Typically, that is only helpful to provide additional information should you not win the auction. Also, it may take a little time after the auction is completed before that’s available. If the auction hasn’t ended, then having a status of “Ready” means you are set.
