Yet another Sunday disappointment!
160084669704 Snipe set for 3 sec and went through with 12 sec. Of coarse I lost the auction. No big surprise anymore.

Hmm - the winner bid before your snipe went in so whether it went in at 3 or 12 secs would have made no odds. So no justified complaint - the winner just bid more than you!

If the other bid went in before mine at a higher amount.....why did the snipe even bid?
And why the angry face....I'm the one losing auctions??
Relax and remember to take your blood pressure meds!!

The angry face isn't a reflection of my blood pressure - it's a reference to the fact that you are slagging off a perfectly good product which worked as designed.

why did the snipe even bid
-because AS bids whatever, it then reports back on ebay's response.
Read up on ebay's help about proxy bidding, read the FAQs on AS's help tab and you'll be able to answer that question yourself. Or maybe someone with more patience that me could spell it out...

Gee, I lost an auction too with AS, and it bid with 7 seconds to go before the auction end.
But the winner bid the high bid a day before me and it only shows the next increment. Read the rules. AS places all bids and you can read it and weep when you lose if you click on bids. It will show the time of bid and the amount. Bid the maximum that you will pay and let it alone, and you won't be disappointed.
