I'm sooooo glad I opted to cough up an extra few bucks for AS shipping insurance. I was shocked at how fast this heavy item arrived, 2 days!

But I was even more shocked when I looked closer. The seller didn't pack it very well, and after being tossed around during shipping it got broken.

She didn't even put it in a box......she wrapped the whole thing in cellophane and taped it. Needless to say, the tape broke and the cellophane ripped. The sightglass on the top peice is broken, and I'm not even sure if the peices inside are all still in there. (it's a bagger kit for a riding lawn mower)

I took some photos of it immediately. How do I go about making an insurance claim? Can I open the package or should I leave it as is?

This really sucks...........can someone please advise me? I have already contacted the seller but have not heard back yet.
