Very impressive, region2 – I mean it. All that sniping wisdom contained within one person (you), and this forum has the luck (is “luck” the right description?) to have that person (you) wisdoming on this here forum. I wonder if newbies fully appreciate the depth of your knowledge, although based on some of their responses to you, it’s possible that they do. The demands on your time must be staggering. It probably keeps a small (very) army of Brits on 24-hour-call just to schedule your appointments and various seminars. Tell me, what with the upcoming book deal, and the rumored movie, have you decided who is going to play your character?

Are you STILL thinking (stranger things have happened) about giving me your forum password, region2? But, good news – two of them are the same! My error – I was counting “get a life” and “little else going on in your life” as two different Rick-replies. They’re the same, you clever little devil. Now I only need to remember your 3 Rick-replies. That’s a no-brainer (sorry if that sounded like a putdown).

As far as your dealing with new users, that also should be easy. How hard can it be to call them illiterate or tell them to click the “Help” tab (boy, that really sounded like a putdown)? Of course, if they’re illiterate, how will they know what “Help” means? In fact, if they’re illiterate, how will they be able to read “illiterate”?

Here’s a spooky thought – if region2 and I didn’t have I and region2, region2 and I wouldn’t post NEARLY as much. In fact, if it weren’t for region2 and I, I and/or region2 might find something else to do with our time. Of course, region2 could continue to bash new users without I, and, of course, I could continue to be that polite and helpful guy without region2. It just wouldn’t be as much fun for region2 and I without I and region2 (I know that, but region2 doesn’t).

I will (and have) admit that I don’t have that much else to keep me occupied. But, fortunately that doesn’t detract from region2 taking time out of his self-proclaimed busy schedule to keep me entertained.

Please forgive this taking so long. You were right, region2. Trying to find ANY examples of you helping a new user was a MAJOR “bother”. I went back 30 years, and nothing! There was a “You’re a big help”, but seeing that it was followed by a “Bite me, region2”, I suspect the “big help” comment was sarcasm.
