It was a common misconception that after an auction had ended and our site still had the status of "Ready" that we had not sniped. That is not the case. We did snipe. Because of this misconception we have made a minor change to the way the status reads when the sniper computers have placed the snipes.

When a snipe is placed the status changes from "Ready" to "Snipe Placed." This lets you know that we indeed did place your snipe.

Later when the program that checks the auction to see if you won or lost or not finds out it changes the status from "Snipe Placed" to the final status such as "You Won" or "Bid too low."

We hope this clears things up a litte and puts you at a little more ease that the snipe was placed. And of course you can always go to the eBay auction yourself in the meantime to see if you've won or lost, hopefully it's won!
