I've used AuctionSniper for probably 99% of my bids over the past 6 years now. AuctionSniper is a great convenience and has probably saved me a ton of money too! There is one thing I've been wondering about for awhile now though. Is there any reason why the site does not default to https for the login? I know there's a "Secure Sign-In" link, which I do use, but most websites requiring a login use SSL by default these days. This would be more convenient for those of us who want to login securely and just plain safer for everybody using the site. Is there any advantage by NOT using SSL as the default login? Just curious and keep up the great site/service. Thanks!
