I must say, its quite disappointing when you see a *support* response in this kind of tone.

I mean, I understand that crizo's opening wasnt all that pleasant, but a post on this board from a Support person....isnt just going to be read by the OP...many potential customers may read these replies and be put off.

I would choose a different wording but I agree 100% with the idea, secured login should be the default!

After all, this login provide access to our eBay account and can have monetary implications.

Yes I agree! I don't think anyone would use the "normal login". These days with so many hackers etc everyone wants as much protection as possible especially when sites deal with name, address, bank details....so may I suggest secure login only
