Super Sniper |
idea.TIF (link) So here's my idea (see image): At the moment, when I make a snipe, I try to consider the total cost its going to be, so I don't ge suprised when I bid on an item with, say, $35 postage. For example, if the current bid is $80, postage is $10, and insurance is $5, I will make my maximum snipe $85 + $5 insurance + $10 postage = $100 (nice round number). Just thought this might be worth considering for the other penny-counters out there. [edit] Oh yeah, the insurance and postage details can be automatically gathered from ebay like the current price is at the moment. And in the event that there is no postage or insurance cost, just put a link to the ebay page (so you can email the seller if necessary). Something like that would be nice anyway I think. But I will understand if you think its just not plausible. I see you have already implemented something similar with the "Wins" tab. Where you can enter all of these kind of details. But what good is it if you can't make the decision of the total you are spending at bid-time? At the moment all the working is done in my head, or on a piece of paper... automatic is always cleaner. Beezo, it is a very clean looking idea. I like the idea that you can tell at a glance where you stand. This would really be helpful in bid groups, I think....OMG!! I just noticed the sniper!! LMAO!
