Horrible Auction Sniper customer service !!

Two snipes that I have added last Sunday evening (01/27/2008) have not been placed due to AS system failure and as a result, items have sold for a lower price than my snipes which really did upset me !!

When I then realized that AS system did not work, I had to bid directly through eBay and I was able to won one item, if I did, it is ONLY because I bid on it directly through eBay which you did confirm me when you wrote me that all scheduled snipes were unable to be submitted (please read again what you wrote me the 1st time...). In other words, if I had not bid the item myself directly through eBay, I would not have won it !!

But I was pissed off to see that you have charged me for that item, despite your system failure (!!!!!). When I asked your customer service, Michelle S. wrote me that I will be charged for that item. WHAT A SHAME !! It is your systeme failure and as one of your customers, I should NOT pay for it.

The status I won in blue can only be a mistake from your system or another failure, since it seems that your system didn‘t work correctly anymore.

I do request free snipes for the auctions I did not win and credit for the item I won myself which I am confident that you will grant me if you are a professional and responsible company.

If you don‘t offer anything as a compensation for your system‘s failure, mistakes and efficiency, then frankly, I will have no other choice than to conclude that your company does not care at all about its customers and I will seriously consider doing business with another sniper company, like others of your customers have already done here if I read well the comments in the forum.

Don't you just hate it when someone puts a gun to your head? There really should be laws against that.

They hate us all paying them money! The system was down, you bid manually - you won. If AS also sniped then you owe them, if AS didn't snipe then you don't. End of discussion...

As a matter of fact, Mr R2, I did bid manually and I won indeed, but AS never sniped and the eBay bid history prove it, as I did bid manually 3 minutes before auction's end and the AS snipe (scheduled for 6 sec before end) has never been placed. In other words, without my manual bid, I would NOT have won the item. But I did, and AS did charge me for that, even if the snipe has not been placed ??!! Go figure...

Picky,

Odd that AS would charge you for a snipe when their service was down. In fact, typically when they fail to place a snipe they give you a couple of freebees. Perhaps Michelle didn’t understand the situation.

P.S. Don’t pay any attention to region2 – no one else does (proof of that statement will come from a lack of denial from region2).

You should file a support case for snipes placed that Sunday. We'll remove the fees for Sunday 1/27 snipes you placed manually.
