Hi! I'm not exactly a newbie, but I couldn't find an answer to this question, despite several searches expressed several different ways. If the answer IS here somewhere and I just overlooked it, please forgive me.

I've read a good many posts about "Buy It Now" listings, but I've not found one that mentions whether or not AS can be used for the "Best Offer" option shown at some of them. If I snipe a Best Offer listing, will the seller still have the same 48 hours to respond to the offer? Or do BIN/BO listings just sort of die out if no acceptance by the seller occurs before the auction ends?

There would be no reason to use AS for BO offerings. You simply send the offer to the seller and await the reply.

Thanks. Guess I didn't think that one through to thorougly, did I? At the time I posted, the BO listing I was watching had only two expired offers on board. I thought if I waited until closer to the auction's end and the item still hadn't sold, MAYBE I'd have a better chance of the seller accepting my offer. And since I won't be near a computer when the auction ends, I thought I'd use AS. But since then, the seller has received plenty other offers, all of which are now pending, so I'd best get in line! :-) Thanks for responding.
