I've had a reoccuring issue where auction sniper seems to only list that all items are US dollars, when many are GBP. I'm trusting auction sniper to tell me the current bid of an item so I can determine what my high bid will be (obviously a mistake). There's obviously a VERY big difference in conversion and I'd rather not accidentally bid $50 more than I'd like to which is a problem I'm having already. If I have 35 snipes ready I shouldn't have to check each one individually to see what currency they're in. I can't see why auction sniper can't just list that.

Currencies are always in the auction listed currency.
AS only sends the numbers with NO conversion.

2 in US auction is 2 US dollars
2 in EUR auction is 2 Euros
ect...

They have made some changes recently to Snipes information and layout. Maybe that's when the currencies got mixed up? If you cancel your snipe and re-enter it may straighten out for you.

also, you might want to consider filing a support case

I've won many items in good old English Pounds but the My Wins page consistently shows them in dollars. I even (rashly!) clicked on the Union Jack but still they showed in dollars. Confused

...and I've just tried to modify a snipe but it comes up with a format error. Solution? Click on the USA flag. Mad

Not sure that being a Yank is my 'thing'.

When I was in USA a year or so ago, everyone thought I was Australian (is that worse?) and kept saying 'excuse me'? Seems not one of them understood my attempts at humour.

Did meet a nice girl in a bar in Atlanta. Great shape, great smile, brilliant sense of humour. Finally admitted to coming from Manchester! Wink

Gee - Didnt she even give you a chance to charm her with your pommie wit??

I, at least, let a man say a word before I laugh him outta the room. Gotta give them a sporting chance.

I think she has been in Atlanta too long Razz

Being a Mancunian I guess she saw right through my Shallow Southern Shell and realised I was a merchant Banker straight away. Confused

Explanation of the above:
1. Mancunian = someone from Manchester in the North of England
2. Southern - someone from the South of England - considered not as 'hard' as their northern compatriates.
3. Merchant Banker. Cockney Rhyming slang for... I'll let you work that out.

Ahhhh, I didnt realise you guys spoke the same Rhyming Slang as your convict cast offs.

Merchant Banker, would be the same as our Master Baiters.

So, essentially she gave you the Kyber Pass.

Sucks to be you huh.
